Cristián Alvear
Chilean musician dedicated to the performance, premiere and recording of experimental and contemporary music. He serves as curator of the experimental music festival Relincha, in Valdivia, Chile and he conducts, along with Santiago Astaburuaga, LOTE, ensemble whose work is based on performing and premiering experimental scores. Constantly performing in Chile as well at international festivals and concert venues in Europe, South America and Asia, over recent years he has concentrated its efforts in performing educational concerts in rural areas of the Los Lagos region, in southern Chile. His work has been published by Edition Wandelweiser Records (DE), Irritable Hedgehog (US), Another Timbre (UK), Potlatch (FR), 1000Füssler (DE), Mappa (SK), Caduc (CA) and B-Boim Records (Austria) among others.

I am interested in exploring the fragile and vulnerable “momentum” of situations, materials and sites. I work with sound and image. I live in CDMX and in Hacienda Santa Bárbara in Tlaxcala, Mexico .My aesthetic approach looks for that vulnerable moment in which nothing is determined beforehand, “becoming fragile”.

Guitarist and composer Burkhard Stangl works in the fields of improvisation, electronica and contemporary classical.
Among many others he played, recorded and collaborated with musicians / groups / composers /artists like Anestis Logothetis, Franz Koglmann, Radu Malfatti, Gunter Schneider, John Butcher, Franz Hautzinger, Taku Sugimoto, Taku Unami, Olga Neuwirth, Polwechsel, Gene Coleman, Kevin Drumm, dieb13, Billy Roisz, Martin Siewert, Boris Hauf, Gustav Deutsch, Oswald Egger, Uchihashi Kazuhisa, Katharina Klement, Christof Kurzmann, Kai Fagaschinski, Anna Zaradny, Robert Piotrowicz, Patrick K.-H., Klangforum Wien, efzeg, Christian Fennesz, Barbara Romen, Steve Bates, Katharina Ernst, Juan José Rivas, Fernando Vigueras, Mario de Vega, Attila Faravelli, and, last but not least, with his partner in life and art Angélica Castelló.
